1. Information We Collect

When you use Arrow, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication data (password hash or Google OAuth token).
  • Birth data: date, time, and place of birth, used to generate your readings.
  • Chat data: messages you send to Ask Arrow, and AI-generated memories derived from your conversations.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and purchase records but never see or store your card number.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps, collected for analytics and service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Generate personalized readings based on your birth data.
  • Power the Ask Arrow AI advisor with context from your profile and chat history.
  • Process payments and manage your reading credits.
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets) when email is configured.
  • Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.

3. AI Processing

Your birth data and chat messages are sent to third-party AI providers (including Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) to generate readings and chat responses. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your data to train AI models. Chat memories are stored in our database to provide continuity across conversations.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United States. The application is hosted on Vercel. All connections use SSL encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • AI providers (Google, Anthropic) for generating readings and chat responses.
  • Vercel for hosting and serverless function execution.
  • Neon for database hosting.

6. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data through the dashboard and profile pages.
  • Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
  • Export your readings via the share link feature.

7. Cookies

Arrow uses essential cookies for authentication (session tokens via NextAuth). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children

Arrow is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
